Print to Windows share fails

Hi
I'm attempting to setup the following printer
Domain=sbw
Username=jkingma
Password=secret

Print server = rh-prt-s02
Queue name = rh-nm-mfp-tmp-kx

As per https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CU … er_sharing I tried the following URIs:

smb://rh-prt-s02/rh-nm-mfp-tmp-kx
smb://jkingma:secret@rh-prt-s02/rh-nm-mfp-tmp-kx
smb://jkingma:secret@sbw/rh-prt-s02/rh-nm-mfp-tmp-kx

And got the following results:
* "Session setup failed: NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR"
* "Session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE"
* "Tree connect failed (NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME)"

with the third version I see the printer uri changed to

smb://sbw/rh-prt-s02/rh-nm-mfp-tmp-kx

which is in principle not correct, the domain is sbw but the printer server is rh-prt-s02.

What other string could I try or how do I logon successfully to the print server and connect the printer?

btw my password actually contains a semicolon (;) could that thwart samba in some way?
