[SOLVED]Pacman can't upgrade packages

I ran

This has been covered many times. Update they keyring package first, and update your system more often. This changed 3+ months ago.

I think he was refering to the 13 other video drivers you had installed.  However, that last comment raises another issue (for a different thread): you can't just pick the drivers you want, you need drivers that match your hardware.  If you have hybrid graphics, you need to follow the wiki page for configuring hybdrid graphics systems.

edit: nevermind, it seems this was covered in a previous thread.  You do have a intel/nvidia hybrid system, but (I gather) have disabled the nvidia card in BIOS.
