[SOLVED] nvidia-340xx-utils and mesa-libgl are in conflict

Trying to upgrade today I got the error: "nvidia-340xx-utils and mesa-libgl are in conflict".  Pacman -R on either or both of these packages fails due to numerous dependent packages.

The forums have a number of similar complaints from a few years ago, but they seem to have been resolved by removing nouveau, which I do not have installed.

I can't figure out a way out of this one.  Can anybody help?

Do you have nvidia-340xx-libgl installed? If not, install that.

Thanks for that quick response.  That indeed seems to have been the problem.  I replaced mesa-libgl with nvidia-340xx-libgl and then was able to update the system.  Rebooted and everything seems fine.
