Hello,
nmbd process (part of Samba package) constantly performs disk writes:

02:39:01 AM 0 487 0.00 0.20 0.20 0 /usr/bin/nmbd -D Is such behaviour (if it's occuring in 24/7 mode) causing additional significant disk weariness? (Usual rotational hard drive, not SSD.) If so, is there a way to tune it off?
Thanks.
