Hello
Was browsing Youtube and my sound was working just fine. Then all of a sudden it stopped working, I didn't change or do anything at all, was just browsing videos.
I tried rebooting and the problem persists, I also tried updating my system completely, but problem still persists. This problem isn't exclusive to Youtube, it applies anywhere. Even when I unplug my laptop and the 'dun doo' sound should play, all I hear is static.
I'm using KDE, so when I go in to the sound settings they appear to be fine as I've selected the correct output for my laptop.
When sound should play, I instead get this static noise. Similar to what you'd get when an old TV was not tuned and you'd see the blizzard effect. The 'SHHHH' noise.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
Thanks
Jay
