Laptop sometimes not waking after sleeping

A lot of time I cannot find solution for the next problem. I put my laptop Lenovo Yoga 700-14 to sleeping mode and sometimes it doesn't wake - only caps lock is blinking (seems that kernel panic, if i'm right). Usually it happens after 3-4 sleep/wake up cycles. Log always ends after laptop has been put in sleeping mode. Has anybody similar problems or any guesses how to solve this issue? Thanks!

Re: Laptop sometimes not waking after sleeping

I had a similar problem but with Fedora a while back. I fixed that by increasing the swap size to at least 1.5x the memory.

Note that this was over a year ago and on Fedora.

I'm having this issue too.  I'll give that a try and report back.  Seems to make logical sense, as I am often using most of my RAM with VMs.  Though I rarely swap more than a few MB.

I couldn't respond earlier. Thanks, mithrial, I also will give it a try, and report back if something will change.

Re: Laptop sometimes not waking after sleeping

There are other newer threads relating to sleep/hibernate/resume problems after updating to the 4.10 kernel. You may find clues there.
