Gtk+3 dark theme for Firefox

Does anyone know how to get gtk3 dark themes to work in i3? Everything I find online says to set "gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1" in your config... which I do, and it still uses the light theme.
Here's my config from "~/.config/gtk+3.0/settings.ini":

[Settings]
gtk-theme-name=Adwaita-dark
gtk-icon-theme-name=Adwaita
gtk-cursor-theme-name=Adwaita
gtk-font-name=Noto Sans 8
gtk-cursor-theme-size=0
gtk-toolbar-style=GTK_TOOLBAR_ICONS
gtk-toolbar-icon-size=GTK_ICON_SIZE_LARGE_TOOLBAR
gtk-button-images=0
gtk-menu-images=0
gtk-enable-event-sounds=1
gtk-enable-input-feedback-sounds=1
gtk-xft-antialias=1
gtk-xft-hinting=1
gtk-xft-hintstyle=hintfull
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1

To be clear, I'm only having this problem with gtk3 applications, gtk2 applications work as expected.
Edit: Turns out that it's working fine, for everything except Firefox if I set "gtk-theme-name=Adwaita"
Any idea why it's not working in Firefox?
