Failed internet after browser closes

Alright, I just installed archlinux and everything was running perfect until after i closed my browser. I couldn't access any pages from firefox/opera/epipany nor could pacman access any packages.  I was still able to run gaim and when i ran ping [someite] I received 0% loss. Is this a bug or do i have something misconfigured? It's becoming a hassle to reboot after i close the browser window.

which browser are you using ?

What kind of connection to internet do you have ?

what is the output of ifconfig and mii-tool after the problem occurs ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
