FN volume keys sending signal indefinitely, forcing to hard shutdown

Hardware: Medion Akoya MD99541 / MSN30019493
System: Linux arch 4.9.13-1-lts #1 SMP Mon Feb 27 21:32:16 CET 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux (clean and up-to-date LTS Install with Xfce4.12)

Pressing one of the three volume keys (mute, up and down) disables the entire keyboard, forcing a manual reboot each time. The powerbutton (hard off), the trackpad and highlighting text are the only things still working.

Outputs for:

"showkey -s": no output, freezing

"acpi_listen":
button/volumeup VOLUP 00000080 00000000 K
button/volumedown VOLDN 00000080 00000000 K
button/mute MUTE 00000080 00000000 K

Even though "acpid" displays one command for each key, the signal is sent indefinitly blocking further keyboard inputs. Apparently the issue lies below the "acpi" level.

If there was a way to just disable the fn keys crashing the system, I would already be happy.
Thank You for your time.

If this topic should be moved to hardware and kernel issues, please let me know.
