Help with xmms, please

I would like to play a music cd. Can one do this with xmms?

If so, how?

Thanks.

Re: Help with xmms, please

Yeah, I'm using xmms to play audio CDs.  I actually haven't gotten around to installing or trying xmms-cdparanoia plugin yet.  But, I'm still able to listen to CDs using xmms as is (although probably in what may be considered a less sophisticated way).

Under xmms->options->preferences, you can choose the libcdaudio.so for the input plugin and configure to your system (I have /dev/cdrom for device and /mnt/cd for the directory).  After that, you can browse to the location and play the files directly.
