Reboots on shutdown and screen issue.

I just recently installed Arch on my laptop for the first time and am using gnome de with wayland.

When I boot, I see this odd thing at the top of my screen,

Not sure if I should be concerned since, after it boots, everything works fine.

The other issue is that my laptop reboots on shutdown. I had this same issues with linux mint, ubuntu and xubuntu I had tried before. I searched for solutions but it seems that the solution differ on case by case basis.

In my case if I turn off my WiFi before shutdown, then it doesn't reboot. I have that buggy ralink rt3290 wifi+bluetooth combo chip but my wifi seems to be working just fine.

I have experienced these above issues for a couple of days now.

Thanks in advance smile
Cheers
