Updates since 2017-03-15 announcment [SOLVED]

Following the announcement regarding ca-certificates-utils of 2017-03-15 I followed the advice given and that seemed to go OK.

However ever since then every time I execute 'sudo pacman -Syu' I only receive the response of "nothing to do" which I find suspicious

Can anyone advise me on this?  Has anyone esle had this happen? Has there really been no updates since 2017-03-15?

Sounds like your mirror isn't updating. Check the mirror status page (linked on the front page) and try a different one.

It depends on what packages you have installed, but I would find it odd that nothing has come through in that time. Try using a tool like reflector to generate a list of known good mirrors and sync to those.

Thanks all, it was a problem with the mirrorlist.
A real newbie mistake I have to confess.
Your prompt and courteous advice is much appreciated.
