Slow boot

I am experiencing quite slow boot as compared to the tweaks I have made .
Will disabling these services hinder my boot-up process ?

371ms dev-sdc3.device
           232ms systemd-hostnamed.service
           174ms systemd-localed.service
           170ms systemd-binfmt.service
           136ms systemd-timesyncd.service
           129ms sys-kernel-debug.mount
           122ms dev-mqueue.mount
           115ms dev-hugepages.mount
           107ms netctl.service
           103ms systemd-udev-trigger.service

Re: Slow boot

I wouldn't suggest disabling any of them. Unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Re: Slow boot

What is the output of "systemd-analyze critical-chain" and "systemd-analyze blame"?

Re: Slow boot

Your system already boots pretty fast, from this point on you will likely put a lot of effort in it for little gain. You might be able to shave off another 100ms. But let's say you already wasted an hour on this, you would need to boot your computer 36000 times to "waste" the same amount of time without this optimization. That's likely more often than you will boot your system in its entire life time. Just saying.

If you really want to go to the limits of what is possible the advises given to you on your old boot time thread [1] are still valid.

Damn , I like you mate . I guess it's time to settle down and accept what I have done with the system.
And completely being out of the topic , can you suggest me a way to customize my terminal ? make it just quite good looking and powerful ?
