Wayland + GDM + Kodi = Screensaver during video watching

Hello,

Been trying to search the web the last couple of days but haven't found a solution to my problem.

I recently switched from lightdm to GDM to enable wayland, and it works really good. Except that when I watch something with kodi, the screen dims to blank after 5 minutes. I didn't have this problem with lightdm and not sure whether this is a GDM or a Wayland problem.

The screensaver is turned off in Kodi.

I have this in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf:

Section "ServerLayout"
	Identifier "ServerLayout0"
	Option "StandbyTime" "0"
	Option "SuspendTime" "0"
	Option "OffTime" "0"
	Option "BlankTime" "0"
EndSection

I read somewhere that Wayland couldn't detect fullscreen videoplayers, but someone send a patch upstream, and that was with version 1.9, but got 1.13 now.

Found a package called kodi-prevent-xscreensaver, but haven't got xscreensaver nor gnome-screensaver installed.

Have a complete updated system, with gnome 3.22.2, modesetting driver (Intel i5-4200M) and latest Kodi 17.1.

Ideas anyone?
