[Solved] X and nvidia driver stopped working after upgrade

I have a Dell Inspiron 3442 with a Intel and a Nvidia GT 820M graphic cards. I was using only the nvidia driver and it worked well.
Now I'm using bumblebee because it was the only way I found to xserver works. I got my desktop but the only available resolution is the weird 864x486. I tried all tips in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xr … esolutions without success.

$ uname -a

Re: [Solved] X and nvidia driver stopped working after upgrade

I deleted (with backup) xorg.conf file and xorg.conf.d directory and things started to work. Nvidia driver was failing with segfault, now it works through bumblebee/optirun and primus.
I uninstalled, reinstalled and reconfigure xserver, install nouveau driver, reinstall nvidia driver, and the solution was remove xorg.conf* files. My touchpad only worked after I install synaptics.
