Keyboard repeat rate does not apply to gnome-terminal

Hey,

I currently have an xset configuration like the following:

xset r rate 250 150

And my keyboard thus got much faster, just how I want (actually, I'm still trying out the best configuration)

The problem is that the configuration does not apply to gnome-terminal. The key repeat rate is still very slow there. I tried using kbdrate, but to no avail.

Do you know how I can have a faster keyboard on gnome-terminal?

Thanks.

Not really. I just figured, it was a stupid mistake. I had to turn the speed slider down on Gnome 3 control panel - I thought that turning the slider up would increase the speed, but actually it does not. Anyway, thanks.
