Hi all,
I have Arch Linux on netbook HP Mini 110 and DE Mate.
During booting are loading acpi_video0 and intel_backlight.
Outside the Mate the Brightness control by Fn+F3/F4 works correctly.
In the console during booting, in the any tty, even already in graphic mode on the DE manager (before login entering) all is good.
But after logging in Mate the Brightness control by Fn+F3/F4 works wrong.
When I press Fn+F4 I get loop of very bright very dark Brightness.
And there are several such loops during one Brightness scrolling indicator window loop.
Although at the same time the Power Manager Brightness Applet in the Mate Panel works correctly.
How I can solve this wrong Brightness control by Fn+F3/F4 issue?
