Hi,
I've recently bought an Asus N552VX-FW131T notebook and installed archlinux on it.
The major problem i have with that is that the WiFi interface do not work.
Here's the output of lspci:
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7265 (rev 59)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 139
Memory at df300000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
Kernel modules: iwlwifi
And here dmesg:
[ 21.067051] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-7265D-26.ucode failed with error -2
[ 21.067082] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-7265D-25.ucode failed with error -2
[ 21.067104] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-7265D-24.ucode failed with error -2
[ 21.067122] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-7265D-23.ucode failed with error -2
And finally ip link:
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
2: enp3s0f1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/ether 70:4d:7b:46:38:a1 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
3: wlp2s0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode DORMANT group default qlen 1000
link/ether 62:43:86:d4:b5:b0 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
If i try to connect to a wifi network using NetworkManager (through nm-applet in xfce) i obtain the following output:
** Message: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
I'm quite desperate, done a lot of googling but nothing worked. how i can solve this?
Thanks in advance

Disable/remove networkmanager and then try connecting manually. Your adapter is supported by the kernel so there should be no issues. If you do get any errors then post them here.

This is what i obtain if i try to use wpa_cli:
wpa_cli v2.6

See README for more details.
Interactive mode
Could not connect to wpa_supplicant: (nil) - re-trying
EDIT:
Using the wicd gtk frontend i am able to connect. The problem must be in NetworkManager any idea?
UPDATE:
After a clean install using the aui script and using gnome instead of xfce everything goes fine. I don't know what happened in that installation, sorry.
