Hi!
I'm using Openbox as window manager with xfce-panel only, and i'm trying to change the font size and name of the text of the panel, like the image. The only font i can change is date because the plugin has this property.
http://imgur.com/a/faDnl
So i've read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/xfce and i tried to use xfconf-query:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /FontName -n -t string -s 'Terminus (TTF) 12'I tried run the following command or restart my system but nothing changes.
xfce4-panel --restartHere my ".config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-panel.xml". The command above created a property in the end of this file.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

FontName as an exposed panel property doesn't exist.
Assuming that you are using the new GTK3 versions of the panel plugins (in that image I think I see systemload, netload, and 2 x fsguard plugins), you can use a gtk override like:
.xfce4-panel {
font-family: "Terminus (TTF)";
font-size: 12px;
}...in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css to change the font for all xfce4-panel GTK3 panel plugins that don't offer an option to specify the font. Restart the panel ("xfce4-panel -r") to see the effect.
Edit: If you just want to effect those specific labels for those plugins (and not all of the font styling on the panel), you can focus directly at the plugin labels via:
#netload-17>widget>box>label {
font-size: 12px;
font-family: "Terminus (TTF)"
}
#systemload-16>widget>box>widget>box>label {
font-size: 12px;
font-family: "Terminus (TTF)"
}
#fsguard-18>widget>box>box>label {
font-size: 12px;
font-family: "Terminus (TTF)"
}Note that the widget names (netload-17, systemload-16, fsguard-18) will be different from system to system. You can get your specific names via right-clicking the panel and selecting Panel > Panel Preferences and going to the Items tab and hovering your mouse over the plugin name. Or you can use the GTK Inspector.

I did what you said. Now is working fine.
Thanks a lot!
