[SOLVED] What is the way to configure default GDM session nowadays?

I have tried setting Session in ~/.dmrc (as described by the GDM documentation), DefaultSession in /etc/gdm/custom.conf and XSession in /var/lib/AccountsService/users/gdm but none of them seem to work. I am using AutomaticLogin and starting gdm from tty using systemctl if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Got help on #gdm: it's possible to set session for automatic login in /var/lib/AccountsService/users/<username> (name of your account, not "gdm"). For example to use GNOME on Xorg you'll need XSession=gnome-xorg.
