no wireless option in gnome network setting

I am getting not any wireless option in gnome network setting and no wifi signals . Though I am able to connect to wifi using " sudo wifi-menu ". How can I resolve this?

wifi-menu is using netctl, gnome network settings probably network-manager. You can't have two programs for this task as they will fight over your wifi device. If you want to use this gnome gui try to disable all netctl services (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Netctl) and restart network manager and maybe your gnome desktop (or to be on the save side: your computer).
