Yeah, I had about 205 meg - quite pleased to see 2.6.17, 3.5.3 & 1.5.0.4 all in one uber update - working fine - cheers to tpowa and the rest of the package guys

it wouldnt matter whether we were using apt, or urpmi or smart or anything. There'd still be a huge download.

Conary works kind of like the Firefox updater, actually... The download would probably still be very big, but not as big.
(That said, I would never bother with rPath or Foresight Linux, seeing how outdated their packages are. XOrg 6.8.2 indeed.)
