GDM can start wayland but not Xorg

gdm-3.24.1-1 works fine with gnome wayland session, but not working with any of XORG based WMs (tried gnome on xorg and awesome)

there is output of 'journalctl -e -u gdm'

апр 30 11:17:45 rmoiseev-home gdm-password][889]: pam_unix(gdm-password:session): session opened for user rmoiseev by rmoiseev(uid=0)

Then i disabled GDM and tried to startx manualy, it works fine.

Re: GDM can start wayland but not Xorg

That's somewhat expectable.

Ok, please specify "not working" - are you immediately kicked back into gdm, end up with a black screen etc.?
Check the xorg log of such failed attempt for errors and also try another user (if there's some conflict/recursion by invoking your xinitrc or so)

Re: GDM can start wayland but not Xorg

First i see blackscreen and next moment it seems like gdm is rebooted, this is confirmed by logs

Thing is I have no xorg log at all. /var/log/xorg just not exists

Re: GDM can start wayland but not Xorg

The server starts and 55ms later terminates. No warnings, let alone errors or segfaults.
This looks as if the session ends (ie. the session keeping process quits "unexpectedly") - look up the journal for eg. awesome or gnome-shell errors/crashes rather than gdm problems.
