The new google earth is available as a web application, to be run with the chrome browser:
In my case, it does not work with chromium 58.0.3029.81-4 as provided by Archlinux. It only shows a static image announcing Google Earth. The web site itself works in Chrome on Windows, so this is someway a Linux/Archlinux problem. Does anyone can "run" google earth from this website?
Note that the desktop application, available from the AUR works. I am speaking here of the web application, which should run by just visiting the website (as it does on Windows).

Chromium in Arch does not support NaCl.

Chromium in Arch does not support NaCl.
Could you elaborate, what's NaCl besides Sodium Chloride (aka table salt)? Or is it a joke?

A search engine query for the keywords "nacl chromium" does not provide any relevant results?

Yeah, you are right, I didn't know that NaCl was chrome specific and searching for NaCl gave you know what... I partly blame Google for choosing such term making their search engine difficult to use.
