No more sdk manager?

Hi, after my daily updates i see now that

The "android" command is deprecated.
For manual SDK, AVD, and project management, please use Android Studio.
For command-line tools, use tools/bin/sdkmanager and tools/bin/avdmanager

I use QT to develop applications and now nothing seems to work. AVD manager -emulator- does not start even if i see that it is installed.
Using cli is not very comfortable when selecting packages. Can i avoid installing android studio? How can i get back a gui version of sdk manager?

Re: No more sdk manager?

you might want to change the title to clarify which sdk manager your talking about.

pacman -Fs doesn't find sdkmanager or avdmanager which suggests those programs don't come from an official repo.

Which package do those comands come from ?

Re: No more sdk manager?

upstream removed several tools including the sdk gui manager, check the release notes[1]  for 25.3.0 and later versions.
A package for the new standalone android emulator is present in AUR .

You mentioned "after my daily updates" in your opening posts.
Are you are using an aur helper to update your whole system ?

If that is what you're doing, i suggest changing your workflow and separating official updates with pacman -Syu from AUR updates through an aur helper.
