Loading Pulseaudio Module Disconnects Bluetooth Speaker

So I'm trying to get a dynamic audio limiter/normaliser working and I'm running into a weird issue. If I load the module, it disconnects the speaker and I have to reestablish a connection to get it to work again. The line I'm using is...

I've tried with and without the "master" part of the line with no change in behaviour. Anyone ever loaded these modules and used them successfully with bluetooth audio devices?
