I'm sorry if the post subject is a bit vague but I didn't know what else to say to keep it simple.
So I was trying to install gnome and gnome-extra
sudo pacman -S gnome gnome-extra
and I got these errors:

I have installed and removed gnome from my system before. This is the first time I've encountered this.
I couldn't find anything on the wiki or here (at least from my half-a**ed searching).
Is this a mistake from my part? Can anyone please help.

Have you been using pip as root?

Have you been using pip as root?
Yes I have for a couple of packages.
Offline
And that's what's causing you problems. You installed things into /usr that pacman knows nothing about and is refusing to overwrite. Never use pip as root.

I will remember that.
So I removed all packages I installed via root with pip and gnome installed properly.
Thank you for helping me.
