Firefox keeps arbitrarily crashing

This has been happening for a while. Reinstalling hasn't helped. I can't also say what triggered the problem.
At first I thought it was because of some addons, as after the crash there is a report crash window and in there there is a "details" button and on looking up the details, the first thing visible was with the name of some addons. But uninstalling the addons didn't help.

The following is from journalctl -xe:

May 04 20:50:23 sameer systemd-coredump[28627]: Process 28597 (plugin-containe) of user 1000 dumped core.

Re: Firefox keeps arbitrarily crashing

If you rename your mozilla profile and move it, then create a new one does it continue?

I don't know. It is arbitrary. Sometimes itdoesn't happen for a couple of days. Sometimes it happens within a couple of minutes. I'll try and let you know.

Re: Firefox keeps arbitrarily crashing

There're only two contenders.
Historically, it's clear which one will be the culprit, but you could disable them individually to see which one does not segfault the plugin container.
