Gnome-shell 3.24 crashes quite frequently

Ever since I upgraded to 3.24, gnome-shell crashes up to three times a day. I can't seem to find any special cause, but mostly it happens while my laptop is doing heavy graphics stuff (watching movies or series). In the logs I that gnome-shell dumped core.

I'm using an ASUS X555L laptop. Has anyone an idea on what might be the problem?

I use Arch btw

In the logs I that gnome-shell dumped core.

And the coredump will hint why it crashes, so please share that if you want half-wise informed opinions on the reason.

Re: Gnome-shell 3.24 crashes quite frequently

Ok, i have similar situation, just i have't notice that is related to any "graphic staff" or any specific situation.
Gnome crashes randomly, started after update of Gnome Shell 3.24. I haven't found particular situation what causes crash.

There is output with journalctl -b:

systemd-coredump[9970]: Process 967 (gnome-shell) of user 1000 dumped core.

a) please don't hijack threads - it's entirely unclear what the OPs problem is and the thread might at some point be closed for that reason
b) please remember to always use code tags when pasting longer™ output
