[SOLVED] <appstream-qt> has been Upgraded as of Friday, May the 5th.

This is a dependent of plasma, so just run an update if you're getting an error.

How about pacman -Syu instead of -S  ?  I've not looked, but I bet that package has been updated and you local database is stale (still referring to the old version)

Edit:  I looked, it was updated yesterday.
