[SOLVED]no version information available warning from libcdio-paranoia

When mpd is to be started

$ mpd
mpd: /usr/lib/libcdio_cdda.so.2: no version information available (required by mpd)
mpd: /usr/lib/libcdio_paranoia.so.2: no version information available (required by mpd)

or for mpv

$ mpv
mpv: /usr/lib/libcdio_cdda.so.2: no version information available (required by mpv)
mpv: /usr/lib/libcdio_paranoia.so.2: no version information available (required by mpv)
mpv 0.25.0 (C) 2000-2017 mpv/MPlayer/mplayer2 projects
 built on Sat May  6 20:29:32 CEST 2017
...
$  pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libcdio_cdda.so.2  /usr/lib/libcdio_paranoia.so.2
/usr/lib/libcdio_cdda.so.2 is owned by libcdio-paranoia 10.2+0.94+1-1
/usr/lib/libcdio_paranoia.so.2 is owned by libcdio-paranoia 10.2+0.94+1-1

Perhaps you're running into this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/53968?p … om=-1+week ...which has been fixed today so your next update should fix this.

If you don't feel like waiting for the package, I just compiled mpd from the ABS and the problem went away.

They're not major problem. Thought they needed rebuild , wasn't sure. Hence this post. I'd rather wait for repo to build packages than rebuilding with ABS.
