I can't copy/paste between Wayland windows and XWayland windows, i'm pretty sure I didn't have the issue before. Seems to be a common problem but i cant find a solution, anybody can help me? Thanks!
I've read the problem seems to be 'lack of synchronization' between X11 & Wayland, and that the issue has been solved in an older mutter version but doesn't seem to work for me. Ive also tried reinstalling latest version & downgrading mutter.
GNOME Terminal 3.24.2 Using VTE version 0.48.3 +GNUTLS
mutter-3.24.1+1+geb394f19d-1
wayland-1.13.0-1
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It really is even with GTK3.22.14-1.
However pasting from gnome-terminal to firefox is working but not vice versa.

A recent fix in GTK done for another problem exposed this new bug which has to be fixed. See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781814 and https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=782472.
Patches have been submitted so we have to wait for new packages to come through.

You could file a bug report against mutter asking for https://git.gnome.org/browse/mutter/com … 3561d8709e to be applied.
Edit:
So it appears that patch contained in mutter 3.24.2-1 has not resolved the issue someone should open a new issue upstream.

This has been fixed in today's update of mutter to 3.24.2-1. Thanks to the Arch devs for rushing this through,

There is still an issue. When doing copy paste from empathy to terminal or gedit, it only works by right mouse-click, copy. Shortcut ctrl+c doesn't work.

Well both clipboard and selection copy/paste were broken for me both are fixed (back to normal) after yesterday's update. In a linux terminal you have to use shift+control+c/v to copy/paste from the clipboard. Are you saying that is still broken for you?
