[Request] RTL8814AU PKGBUILD (Found working over in Kali Linux)

Hey guys, currently just got a new wifi adaptor (Alfa AWUS1900)  which uses the Realtek RTL8814U chipset, sadly I have had no luck finding any drivers in the AUR that currently support this chipset.
I did boot up Kali linux for a bit to see if they got it working over there (since they love there wifi so much) and apparently they are using this driver https://pkg.kali.org/pkg/realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms and after looking on github it looks like this https://github.com/astsam/rtl8812au should work also.
Wondering if anyone wants to load up a PKGBUILD or maybe im just a complete newb and missed it in the AUR, athough I have tried a few of the 8812au from AUR and they did not seem to work, I even tried the edimax driver https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/edim … 14au-dkms/ because it was the only AUR package to pop up after searching for rtl8814U but that seems to be dated and did not work.

Any help would be appreciated, Thank You!

Did you try rtl8812au-inject-dkms-git? It uses https://github.com/astsam/rtl8812au as source.

Ya I did and its not working. In the github readme it looks like it defaults to RTL8812 and there is an option to use "make RTL8814=1" to get the RTL8814 working, so alil pkgbuild editing would prob work on that ill try it soon. Did get the Edimaxac1750 to work but i'm pretty sure it has dated drivers being used

Oh well couldnt get it working, im still pretty new to all this stuff so im sure I was doing something wrong. Either way the edimax driver does seem to work well so I will just stick with that for now smile
