[SOLVED] 3DConnexion driver cannot find fonts

Hi all,

I followed the guide here for setting up the proprietary drivers for my SpacePilot PRO 3D mouse.

Once I got through all the quirks, I went to start the driver, and got this error message.

3DxWareUNIX = V1.8.0
Device      = SpacePilot PRO
Firmware    = V4.11
3dxsrv, Error: No suitable fonts (for the device LCD) found!!!
3dxsrv, Please make sure you have the X11 (75dpi) fonts installed!!
3dxsrv, Exiting.

I then went and installed the specified fonts with the package xorg-fonts-75dpi. However, the driver cannot find the appropriate fonts still.

Additionally, I try and run the demo program, and I get the following error.

stderr, basicwin: cannot open 9x15 font

No driver is running. Exit ...

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Solution:

If anyone runs into this issue, simply restarting solved the problem for me.
