I have a Acer Aspire 5750z laptop with an Intel graphics card. I have installed xf86-video-intel and I have enabled early modesetting according to the information in wiki.
However when I boot my laptop if I have a second monitor connected, My laptop monitor would be blank until I enter X and everything would only be printed on my second monitor. even when I'm inside X if I change to another TTY, my laptop monitor is still disabled.
It was working alright until I decided to reinstall arch and now I can't seem to find how I can fix this.
Here are some information:
$ lspci | grep -i vga

Is the laptop screen active before linux starts ?
If yes, at which point does it get blanked ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
