No sound from windows in libvirt KVM/QEMU

Hi!

I've installed libvirt, virt-manager, and using KVM/QEMU to run Windows 10.

As far as I can tell, Windows is happy, and thinks its audio is working. However, no sound is played back when testing it in the virtual Windows 10.

I don't quite know what to test. Obviously I have working audio on the native host machine. I've tried selecting different audio emulation in virt-manager, but to no avail.

I've tried to avoid going down the pulseaudio rabbit hole, as that always ends up exploding all over my face, but these are the packages I've installed.

pacman -Qs alsa
local/alsa-lib 1.1.4-1
An alternative implementation of Linux sound support
local/alsa-tools 1.1.3-1
Advanced tools for certain sound cards
local/alsa-utils 1.1.4-1
An alternative implementation of Linux sound support
local/zita-alsa-pcmi 0.2.0-3
The successor of clalsadrv, provides easy access to ALSA PCM devices.

pacman -Qs pulse
local/libpulse 10.0-3
A featureful, general-purpose sound server (client library)
