I reloaded Arch on my laptop. I backed up my /home using backintime. I restored my .gnupg directory and when I tried to verify my database I got the following error,
gpg --list-keys
gpg: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=3c)
gpg: parse_keyblock_image: read error: Invalid packet
gpg: keydb_get_keyblock failed: Invalid keyring
/home/rican-linux/.gnupg/pubring.kbxThere was a section in the gnupg page of the wiki that addressed something similar to this but the suggested work around did not help.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How old is the .gnupg directory that you restored? Do you know which version of gnupg you had when it last worked? Which version do you have now? Are you sure that the restored files are not corrupted?
Post the link to the gnupg wiki page and tell us what you have actually tried. Searching for the issue returns multiple hits. Have you tried any of those solutions?

I was using it with Antergos literally a day ago. I just switch to pure Arch yesterday. I have been using this same .gnupg folder through multiple distros Antergos, Debian, Ubuntu, and even Gentoo.
I was refering to this part of the wiki.

Which apparently garbled at least some of the files. You hopefully still have a sane backup of your homedir and transfer it using a non-amateurish solution that has been under heavy testing for decades like, i don't know, ... tar? (rsync if you want to transfer stuff directly)
