install/start android-studio

Hello dear community,

i need your help with starting android-studio on my PC. I installed and worked with android-studio on my laptop a few months ago, but now I'm in trouble.

1) added multilib support &&  update system
2) installed successfully
        android-sdkAUR
        android-sdk-platform-toolsAUR
        android-sdk-build-toolsAUR
        android-platformAUR
        android-studioAUR
        android-studio-launcherAUR
3) tried to start the program but i couldn't find anything executable in the /opt/android-studio/bin
4) installed jre8-openjdk (i thought i forgot to install java but then i figured out that it was already installed as a dependency from one package above...)
5) uninstalled everything(except java) and than installed just android-studioAUR (because:
Note: If you plan to install #Android Studio and want the IDE to manage your SDK installation, you do not need to install these packages)
6) tried to start the program but i couldn't find anything executable in the /opt/android-studio/bin
7) now I'm frustrated

Thank you a lot for every hint smile

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
