I am looking for game Day of the Tentacle which I played long time ago. Anyone know where can I find it, please? It came from Lucas Arts...

Are you guys suggesting that LucusArts has released this to the public domain? Otherwise, advising the use of P2P to find copyrighted material is typically a big no-no on these boards.

I wonder myself what's the actual legal status of those games.

I'm sure of two things: firstly, many abandonware sites offer downloads of them, with a disclaimer of its (alleged?) legality, secondly, it's virtually impossible to get them by other means (they aren't sold anymore, not even in a form of some collections). And that concerns great majority of games we used to play in the old days ;-)

Are you suggesting that everyone in this thread before you arrived was advising the use of p2p to obtain copyrighted material?

I merely pointed out a perfectly legal means to play the game on a linux box, should he already possess the data files for the game.
