I've got an ancient CAD program, much like Solidworks, that creates the part browser and the background command pallet as two separate windows.
Trouble is that whenever you click on one of the commands(New sketch, etc.), it hides the part browser behind the background window. I can bring it back with MOD-left or MOD-right, but it's pretty irritating.
Anyone have any advice on preventing it from hiding the parts browser?
Solution: I kept the command pallet tiled and floated the parts window. That seems to provide the behaviour I'd like.
