My Arch desktop computer used to be able to resume successfully from suspend-to-ram, but a few months ago it stopped working. The desktop can suspend, but upon waking the keyboard & mouse do not light up and music previously playing on mpd does not resume. I tried ssh'ing into the desktop but there is no response, so I assume it has not fully resumed.
Based on advice from the irc channel, I have tried using Nouveau instead of Nvidia drivers, but that did not solve the issue. I also tried removing a wifi driver that I am no longer using which was causing errors each time the linux kernel updated, but that did not solve the problem either.
What else can I try? While this started months ago, I'm asking now since I now have time to work on fixing the problem.

After updating today again, suspend seems to work!
So, even though I don't know the exact cause of the problem, it got fixed just by updating. To others with this problem, all I can say is that if it's not urgent, just keep updating/backing up and the problem might eventually get fixed!
