Hi,
Evolution mail is well able to send emails for Gmail account if added through Evolution mail's account setup wizard. However, the same Gmail account added through Gnome Online Account (i.e. Settings > Online Accounts (GOA) > Google > Allowed Gnome apps) returns error:
The reported error was “HELO command failed: Peer failed to perform TLS handshake”.Also, for any account added via GOA, account properties (account editor) is different. If added through Wizard, it has a tab called "Sending Email" where SMTP server address, IP address and encryption type is setup whereas for account added via GOA does not have this tap.
Is it a bug or some change in the way Google handles app? Unable to find any solution except adding it through Evolution's wizard. Appreciate suggestions/fix.
Note: Incoming emails are working fine including docs, chat, etc.
Thanks

The bug filed above was accepted for fix. Pursuant to comment #8 therein, do I need to file a bug report on Arch Linux Bug Tracker so it gets adopted by Arch as well? Or not necessary.
Thanks
