[solved] Can't install touchegg

Hi !

I try to install touchegg with yaourt, but during the installation, there is a compilation error when compiling the dependency geis. So, touch isn't installed.

geis_v1.c: In function '_v1_subscribe_device':
geis_v1.c:613:20: error: comparison between pointer and zero character constant [-Werror=pointer-compare]
   if (gesture_list == GEIS_ALL_GESTURES)
                    ^~
geis_v1.c:613:7: note: did you mean to dereference the pointer?
   if (gesture_list == GEIS_ALL_GESTURES)
       ^
geis_v1.c: In function 'geis_unsubscribe':
geis_v1.c:760:20: error: comparison between pointer and zero character constant [-Werror=pointer-compare]
   if (gesture_list == GEIS_ALL_GESTURES)
                    ^~
geis_v1.c:760:7: note: did you mean to dereference the pointer?
   if (gesture_list == GEIS_ALL_GESTURES)
       ^

make[2]: *** [Makefile:799: all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Makefile:525: all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [Makefile:433: all] Error 2

Can someone help me. I'm not a beginner in Linux, but I'm in archlinux. I don't know what should I do.
Thanks in advance.

Re: [solved] Can't install touchegg

Use makepkg (not yaourt) and post the full output.

Also please post output between [⁣code] [/⁣code] tags.

Thanks for your answers. And sorry for chosing the bad topic. I'll pay more attention the next time.

Here is the log then I use makepkg on geis :

EDIT :
I found a solution.

There is a warning in geis code, so the code does not compile. I made a quick fix. I just added the -Wno-error flag to avoir warning making error. I know, it is a bad practice when developping in C, but I didn't want to modify the source code of geis.
here is my modified PKGBUILD : https://gist.github.com/kiralex/242095f … 4e95d8b93e
