This is a bit of a hail Mary, hoping someone may have seen this and have a suggestion for me.
My Windows VM had been working great for many months, but recently started getting the dreaded IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD.
I had not changed anything at all in the VM configuration.
In windows, other than possibly GPU drivers, no change. I've tried going back to older drivers with no luck.
Other people who had this crash were able to isolate it to specific drivers, like viostor.sys. No such luck for me -- kernel mode crash with no indication of it being a particular driver. I tried enabling memory locking in qemu per suggestions in a thread for a similar issue, but it didn't fix it.
What's particularly odd is this doesn't happen when the VM is under load. I thought it might be related to power saving (which I subsequently disabled), but I don't think that's it because it happens randomly, often after a much shorter time than would be indicative of power save issues.
Very much appreciate any suggestions on why this would suddenly start happening and how I might troubleshoot further.

When does the BSOD happen? On boot; or otherwise in some repeatable fashion?
