hi
i'm about to use dash as a posix shell. a man page is delivered with the package. <man dash> shows
<export> and <fc> as Builtins among others
but
OrJg-1:$ type export
export is a special shell builtin
OrJg-1:$ type fc
fc: not found
how do i have to understand the difference between man page and behavior of executable?

I think you found a bug somewhere. I built the package myself twice here, once twenty minutes ago and this fc builtin didn't work same as with the package in the Arch repos, then just now I built the package again and this 'fc' suddenly works:
$ dash
$ type fc
fc is a shell builtin
$ fc
dash: 2: fc: missing history argumentAfter I had first built the package, I went looking through its source files to see how it's getting built and could find nothing that disabled this fc builtin. It seems you can define a "SMALL" with the C pre-processor that disables it, but that wasn't defined. I then ran the "./configure ..." and "make" manually in the source folder and then run the dash binary with "./dash" after it was built and noticed the 'fc' worked. Then I wiped everything about makepkg's build folders and ran "makepkg -Ccfi" again where I had the PKGBUILD and the dash package that was produced had a working 'fc'.
