LightDM issues - slow and buggy to wake up from sleep

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right area to put this.

So I'm running Gnome as my DE, but for some weird reason once in a while it would auto-log me out. Very annoying as it would mean anything I hadn't saved would be lost. I isolated it down to GDM causing the issue, so I changed my display manager to lightDM. Here are the notes on what I did :

#sudo pacman -S lightdm
#sudo pacman -S light-locker

	GUI Interface for Light Locker
#packer -S light-locker-settings

#sudo nano /etc/lightdm/Xsession

Add ‘/usr/bin/light-locker &’ entry into ‘Session’
	Should be near the bottom

	Changing the wallpaper

#sudo pacman -S lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings

It is recommended to place the PNG or JPG file in /usr/share/pixmaps since the LightDM user needs read access to the wallpaper file.

#sudo cp /home/nn/Pictures/…. /usr/share/pixmaps

I got the tip to edit Xsession from here. It fixed the problem of LightDM not working, but it's still a little buggy. Sometimes when waking my laptop from sleep, it would take a while. Sometimes the screen just stays blank until I close the lid, wait for it to go to sleep, then open it again. I mean it's much less annoying than just crashing, but still annoying none the less.

Any tips or pointers to the right direction for me to figure out how to fix this would be very appreciated.

Thank you!
