Hello. I own a Razer blade stealth (2016) i7-7500U, and today I decided to install arch again on my laptop. I have previously used arch back in winter, and I have had no issues. However, this time my screen flickers when I press a key, and it also keeps giving me this error: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
I'm not really sure on what is causing this as I have not experienced this before. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

More information required: video card(s), drivers(s), Xorg or Wayland? Logs or journal entries? Etc...
Moving to NC.

my GPU is the integrated "intel hd graphics 620", at first I thought this was a problem with the xf86-video-intel driver, but uninstalling that didn't seem to fix it either. I've just done a clean installation, so I don't really have any sort of graphical environments. It's just barebones arch linux with the console, and issue still exists. I can also confirm that this happens on the installation media as well. I'm not really sure how to expand this. sorry

Is early KMS enabled? Have you tried other kernel line options?

I have found that setting the kernel parameter i915.enable_rc6=0 seems to fix the issue. So far I haven't seen any screen flickering at the time. I will report back later.
Also when I want to append multiple parameters (i915.enable_rc6=0 and button.lid_init_state_open), I just put them in a single line like "GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet button.lid_init_state=open i915.enable_rc6=0" right?
Thank you for your help.
