Hi,
the latest pacman -Syu gives me the following error:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: pyicqt: installing python2-twisted (17.5.0-1) breaks dependency 'twisted'
How can I install the latest updates without breaking anything?

This is a bug in the pyicqt package. File a bug report

Ok I made a thread based on this thread thinking it was solved & closed.. A mod (i believe) told me to try another mirror. I commented in and out 15 different mirrors... same error. I looked/read the bug report, says solved, etc.. but no way to get around that error message that started this thread. Am I doing something wrong? or is it a fix that takes time to populate through the mirrors? Or am I missing something important I should read about and/or figure out how to do?

Try installing python2-twisted from yaourt
See how it goes.

That wouldn't change anything since yaourt will simply install it just the same with pacman.

I'm going to go ahead and close this now. u2piksnib never responded, and OP solved their problem.
