Dell WM615 Mouse - Scroll Wheel Not Working

Hi All,

New arch user defected from ubuntu - Im having trouble with the scroll features on the dell mouse WM615

Its a bluetooth mouse  , and works fine for 'normal' operation (movement , left / right buttons).

I've tried to use evtest - and the output is there for moving and left / right buttons - but nothing for the scroll part.

Any ideas?

Im running 4.11.6-1-ARCH kernel  and have tried gnome with wayland and Xorg.

Please don't necrobump - the OP hasn't posted in 6 years (almost to the day)

Did you try that thing on a different system?
https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/laptops-general-read-only/wm615-bluetooth-mouse-won't-scroll/647f58e4f4ccf8a8de32e6fb reads like a "don't buy" and apparently the wheel needs more voltage than the rest of the mouse…
