[Solved] Gnome tooltip text offset wrong on first execution

Hi everyone!

I just installed Arch on this computer a couple of days ago, and got the latest gnome packages then. I've noticed that whenever I hover to get a tooltip, the text won't be readable because it's been pushed down too much.
This only happens the first time I hover over an object in a new instance of a program, but I've got screenshots of it happening both in Visual Studio Code and Chromium.

Anyone got an idea of how to fix this? - Have you heard of this problem with other distros' version of Gnome?

Any help would be appreciated. smile

Re: [Solved] Gnome tooltip text offset wrong on first execution

Both of the programs you mention are chromium based applications, both of them do not use native GTK3 but Chromiums Aura.  So this has nothing to do with Gnome. But rather with Chromium and it has been there for a while, here's a bug report for it: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is … ?id=442111
